She shared that she consciously stepped back after realizing that conversations about her were no longer focused on her work. This break, he said, allowed him to reconnect with relatives he hadn’t spent enough time with in recent years.Reflecting on how the public discourse has changed to deal with negativity on social media after posting his breakup, Vijay said in a chat with News18, “When we were growing up, saying something bad about someone on a public platform was frowned upon and not appreciated.
