David Dhawan is returning to the big screen with the three-way rom-com mayhem of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. On Tuesday, the makers released the much-awaited teaser Varun Dhawan Paired with the sparkling chemistry of Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, it promises a whirlwind of laughter and love triangles.

The teaser begins with two small AI-made children asking about each other’s parents. They see that the mothers have different names, but maybe the same father. We meet Jass (Varun Dhawan), a nice guy, and the two “mothers”, Baani (Mrunal) and Preet (Pooja). ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ reunites Varun for the first time with Mrunal and Pooja Hegde, as he marks his fourth project with father David Dhawan after ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Coolie No. after 1’ The film has a strong supporting cast including Chunky Pandey, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill and Mouni Roy. It will be released in theaters on May 22.
