Describing their first meeting, Uppal said it happened on the set itself due to lack of time. He said, “I was dropped at the last minute, and my first meeting with him was live on the set in Amritsar during the Hamza party scene. I remember touching his feet and honestly telling him that I’m one of his biggest fans, someone who grew up watching his films on VCRs. I told him how much I admire his work, especially Sadak and Saajan. How it all started, it was a very easy conversation from there.”
