Whenever you do something that’s not very good, why does he do that? He deserves to do much better things. And whenever there’s a character that has that depth or sadness, you feel that era or sadness. Madhubala and Smita Patil, there are not many people like that. So please don’t do random things and do good things.” Mrunal looked excited hearing the praise, bowing his head to thank Nag.

Directed by newcomer Shaneil Deo, ‘Dacoit’ is an action packed romantic drama backed by Supriya Yarlagadda of Annapurna Studios. Directs the leadership of the cast Adivi SeshMrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap supported by Prakash Raj, Sunil, Zayn Marie Khan and Atul Kulkarni. The plot is based on the convict Haridas “Hari”, who seeks revenge on his former lover, Saraswati, after her betrayal lands him in jail. After the premiere, his robbery reveals connections between their past and a larger criminal network. It hit the screens on April 10, and mixed critics and audiences.
