IB MTS Result 2026: The Intelligence Bureau is all set to announce the IBMTS Result 2026 on the Home Ministry website, with the official notice indicating that the result will be released soon. As on 13th April 2026, candidates appearing for the examination are awaiting confirmation of their eligibility status.Multi-Tasking Staff Exam was conducted on 27th January 2026 for 362 Posts. Once released, the result will be available in PDF format at mha.gov.in, containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next round of recruitment.Preparation of results and latest updateThe provisional answer key and answer sheet were released within two days after the examination. The objections submitted by the candidates are currently being reviewed. The final answer key, once released, will form the basis for the preparation of IB MTS Result 2026.The selection process includes Tier 1, Tier 2 and Interview stage. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately.Marking Scheme and Score CalculationThe written exam consisted of objective type multiple choice questions. Each correct answer carries one mark, while an incorrect answer results in a deduction of a quarter mark.Candidates can estimate their score by adding the marks for correct answers and deducting the penalty for wrong answers to arrive at a provisional total.Merit list and cut off criteriaMerit list will be released along with cut off marks. It will be prepared on the basis of written test scores, subsequent stages where applicable, category wise vacancies, and document verification status.The cut-off marks will depend on factors including number of candidates, total vacancies, reservation rules, difficulty level, and normalization criteria. Candidates meeting or above the cut-off will qualify for the next stage.Next step and document verificationShortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Required documents include proof of date of birth, education certificate, domicile certificate, caste or disability certificate where applicable, and other relevant records. Failure to submit valid documents may result in disqualification.
