gave Total School Examination Board has released date sheet for Secondary Special Exam and Secondary Compartmental Exam 2026. Students who have not cleared the regular matriculation (class 10) examination or who want to improve their marks can appear for these examinations.According to the official schedule, theory exams will be held from May 2 to May 6, 2026. The exams will be conducted in two shifts every day. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm while the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. However, the duration may vary slightly for some subjects.Before theory exams, practical exams of relevant subjects and vocational trades will be conducted on 29th April and 30th April 2026.

BSEB Matric Special, Compartment Exam 2026: Important Instructions

The board has also issued important guidelines for students appearing for the exams:

  • Students will get 15 minutes as study time before the commencement of examination in each shift.
  • Visually impaired and differently abled (spastic) candidates will be allowed to use scribe. They will also get an extra 20 minutes per hour during the exam.
  • Admission to the examination center will close 30 minutes before the start of each shift.
  • Admission will be closed at 9 am for the first shift and at 1:30 pm for the second shift.
  • Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

The board has also directed the schools to submit the internal assessment marks for science and social science literacy or project work to the District Education Officer by May 4, 2026.Students are advised to check the complete time table carefully and follow all the instructions issued by the board to avoid any problems during the examination.
