At London’s O2 Arena, Shreya Ghoshal’s ‘The Unstoppable Tour’ turned into a heartfelt celebration of Asha Bhosl’s legacy. Worshiped as a guru, Ghoshal enthralled fans with emotional renditions of ‘Do Lafzon Ki Yeh Dil Ki Kahani’ and ‘Abhi Na Jao Chod Kar’ as nostalgic images of Bhoshal danced on screen. Shreya Ghoshal kicked off ‘The Unstoppable Tour’ in the UK, and during her recent concert at London’s O2 Arena, the singer paid a heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Asha Bhosle, following her death. Several videos from the sold-out show have gone viral on the Internet. Remembering the Indian music icon, Ghoshal stated that he was a guru to him.

In one of the videos, Shreya Ghoshal is heard saying, “I love you, Asha Tai. Through music, you will be forever in our hearts, won’t you? Let’s sing.” And then he started singing the song ‘Do Lafzon Ki Yeh Dil Ki Kahani’, originally composed by Asha Bhosle, from the film ‘The Great Gambler’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman. Shreya Ghoshal also performed songs like ‘Abhi Na Jao Chod Kar’ and ‘Dum Maro Dum’ as a tribute to Asha Bhosle at the event. Shreya Ghoshal’s tour will include 51 concerts in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa and North America. The tour will end in September this year, so far.

Asha Bhosle died at the age of 92 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on 12 April 2026 due to multi-organ failure. His son, Anand Bhosle, asked everyone to pay their last respects at his residence in Casa Grande building in Lower Parel from 10.30 am onwards. Shivaji Park in Dadar at 4:00 PM. He will be killed with full honor of the state.
