IISER IAT 2026 Registration Ends Today: Check Direct Link, How to Apply Before Last Date

IISER IAT 2026 Registration: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research will close the registration process for IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 today on April 13, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can complete the registration through the official website at IISER admission portal iiseradmission.in before the last date.IISER IAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on June 7, 2026. The test will be conducted in a single shift from 9 AM to 12 PM at multiple centers across India.

IISER IAT 2026 Exam details

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 will be conducted as a computer based test. The exam will consist of a total of 60 questions with 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.Candidates will get 180 minutes to complete the exam. All questions will be of multiple choice type with only one correct answer. Total marks will be counted out of 240, and these marks will be used to prepare the IAT 2026 Rank List.Officials have also clarified that not every candidate appearing in the exam will get a rank. The rank cutoff will be announced later. Also, getting a rank does not guarantee admission to IISER.

Application fee

For General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and OBC Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates, the fee is ₹2000. It is ₹1000 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu families (non-immigrants) residing in Kashmir Valley. And for foreign nationals it is Rs 12000.Candidates are advised to complete their application before the last date to avoid last minute problems.
