The strike was so powerful that it changed the shape of the ball, which was also wet, prompting the umpires to call for a substitution.As the box of used balls was brought out, David picked one up and casually started playing with it. Despite repeated requests from the umpire to hand it back, the Australian played with the ball for a few moments, apparently angering the official. After a short delay, David eventually returned the ball, and a smile was brought back to the situation.Rohit Sharma also joined in, sharing a light-hearted moment with David as the incident drew laughter from the field.Earlier, RCB’s top order dominated the proceedings. Skipper Rajat Patidar combined with Phil Salt and Virat Kohli to score impressive half-centuries to take the defending champions to 240/4, the second-highest total of the season.Salt played a brilliant innings of 78 runs off 36 balls with the help of six fours and six sixes, while Kohli led the innings with 50 runs off 38 balls. The pair put on a fluent 120 for the opening wicket before Shardul Thakur provided the breakthrough.Patidar then set the pace with a blistering 53 off just 20 balls, with four fours and five sixes as RCB stamped their authority with a commanding batting display.In reply, Mumbai Indians managed to make 222/5. RCB won this match by 18 runs.
