Imagine showing up at Cameron Diaz’s door as a guest, and she won’t let you in. That could happen a lot, but with a “valid” reason on the part of the ‘Knight and Day’ actor. Because Diaz doesn’t mess around when it comes to house rules. He has made it clear: if you show up at his door wearing street shoes, you won’t get in; it will leave you on the sidelines.
Cameron Diaz’s “strict” house rules.
Cameron Diaz recently talked about her biggest pet peeve on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’. When Drew asked what really turns him on about houseguests, Diaz didn’t miss a beat: he brings people from the New York sidewalks to his place.Diaz painted a pretty funny picture with how strong this rule is. During the show’s “Drew’s Qs” segment, answering his “biggest ick,” the star paused and then took a deep breath, and said, “New York City shoes off the street.”Diaz also revealed that he expects people to change out of the clothes they were wearing outside before going inside. Why? According to him, the external environment carries dirt and germs that he prefers to keep outside his living space. “You can’t,” Drew added jokingly, “If you want to go into her house, put on a body condom.” Diaz agreed, “You have to change your clothes to get into my house in New York.” Turns out, “It’s true,” Drew points out, “his house is germ-free because of that.“He knows it sounds intense, and Drew and the rest of the cast, including Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer and Jonah Hill, laughed. Still, Cameron stands her ground: “I walk on my floors. It’s fine.”No wonder they want to keep it that way!

Instead of chasing every role, Diaz focused on her personal life: marrying Benji Madden, being a mother, and diving into wellness. He also wrote several books on health and longevity. Now, after nearly a decade out of the limelight, ‘Back in Action’ is back with the comedy ‘Outcome’ on Netflix and Apple TV.Discussing ‘The Result,’ Diaz told People that she’s “beware” of some of the consequences that come with fame.“I also think this movie shows that [fame] in a very interesting light and in a very big light,” he added. “Everyone thinks they want to be famous, but that comes at a cost. So it’s a cautionary comedy.”
