Bollywood’s glitzy birthday bashes often spark curiosity about the lavish gifts stars can receive. However, producer Ektaa Kapoor recently offered a reality check and revealed that such assumptions are far from the truth. Actors are often seen Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan they throw lavish birthday parties for close friends in the industry. But one wonders what people would gift these big stars. Ekta in a chat with MK Talks shared, “People usually don’t bring gifts on birthdays, especially for big names like Salman or Shah Rukh Khan. What would you bring on their birthdays?” Citing stars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.He explained that he doesn’t spend much on birthday celebrations either. “Honestly, I don’t go to many birthdays. On my birthday, I go to Tirupati and I don’t invite anyone. If you ask what one usually gives on a big person’s birthday, I mostly find that people offer only blessings,” he said.Breaking the stereotype of extravagant parties in Bollywood, Ektaa added, “This impression about the film industry, where expensive gifts are exchanged, people drink a lot and party all the time, is not true.”In fact, he found the industry surprisingly humble. “In fact, you won’t find a more boring industry than this. The film industry is the most boring industry,” he said, noting that many stars maintain a disciplined routine, sleeping early, waking up on time and prioritizing health over late-night indulgence.On the work front, Ekta’s Bhooth Bangla is releasing on April 17.
