The actor clarified that he received a respectable amount for the role in the film, but not even a million. Sinha also shared that he is getting messages from people to support them after reports of him being paid a lot for the film started doing the rounds on the internet.

Vivek Sinha took to his Instagram to shoot a video trashing the social media posts about the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise fees. He began his address by appreciating the love they have showered after watching Ranveer Singh starrer films. In the video, he said that some Instagram posts were paying Rs 60 lakh, Rs 80 lakh and even Rs 1 crore.He clarified, “Bhai, itna paisa nahi mila hai, kasamse. Yeh sab mat dalo (Brother, I have not received so much money, I swear. Don’t put all this).”The actor added that after reading all such posts on social media, people sent him messages asking for help. He said, “Mujhe Dhurandhar se paisa mila hai, achcha paisa mila. Jo expected amount tha woh mila. Lekin utna paisa nahi mila, aur joh paisa mila tha khatam ho chuka hai. Mumbai mein rehta hoon bhai, aur bahot kharche hai Mumbai mein. Toh said ho Dhurandhar wala got for Dhurandhar, and it was a good amount. I got what I expected. But it wasn’t that much, and the money I got has already been spent. I live in Mumbai bro and expenses here are very high. So all Dhurandhar’s money is gone).At the end of the video, he asked his fans to pray for him to get jobs and roles, to have a lot of money and to help people in need.
