Film producer and analyst Dhananjayan Govind also strongly condemned the leak via his X (Twitter) page. Dhananjayan asked the producers to immediately go to court and remove all the pirated links before millions watch the leaked version. Actor Sibiraj also reacted with concern, expressing that he was disturbed by the news of the leak. Censor issues and star-studded cast keep focus on ‘Jana Nayagan’
Apart from the leak controversy, there have been delays with the censorship surrounding the film. The film was earlier slated for a Pongal release, but was sent back for reconsideration following objections from the Central Board of Film Certification. The makers later resubmitted the film after making the necessary cuts, and it is currently being revised.
