Now I filed (the case) because it takes time to move the court.”“While acknowledging that Tridev’s music was sold to Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in the late 1980s, Rai argued that the old contract left no room for such liberties.He added: “In it, there was no (mention) of a remix or that you could take a song and put it in another movie. That phenomenon didn’t exist then. I’m sure that when you sign that paper, you don’t give up your copyright, IP or creative rights. I didn’t create the song for a guy to play a guy.”
