National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for National Teacher Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026 today on April 9, 2026.Candidates can revise by visiting the official website at the NTA Exams Portal (exams.nta.nic.in).The NTET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on 28 April 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in various cities across India.
One time correction facility
NTA has provided this correction facility as a one-time opportunity. After the correction window closes, no further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.Candidates are advised to check all the details carefully before submitting the correct form. Once submitted, the form will be frozen.If any correction affects the application fee then candidates have to pay the additional fee online using credit card, debit card, net banking. UPIAdditional payment once made will not be refunded.
Fields that cannot be changed
Candidates will not be allowed to change the following details:
- Mobile no
- E-mail address
- Address (permanent and current)
- Upload photos
- A field where only one description can be changed.
Candidates will be allowed to substitute any of the following:
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Fields where multiple changes are allowed.
Candidates can change the following details.
- Graduation details
- Post Graduation Details
Candidates can also modify:
- Exam Condition
- Test city
- Other editable fields
Candidates are also allowed to make changes in:
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- category
- Sub-category / PwD (Persons with Disabilities) / PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) (if not verified by Unique Disability ID)
- Signature (photo upload)
- Reforms related to Aadhaar
Candidates who have registered with identity proof other than Aadhaar can update:
- Aadhaar details
- Important Instructions for Candidates
- Corrections can only be made once.
- Additional fees may apply for some changes.
- After final submission, no further edits will be allowed.
- Candidates should check all the details carefully before submitting.
How to correct
Candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website exams.nta.nic.in.
- Click on NTET 2026 Correction link.
- Login using application number and password.
- Edit the required details.
- Pay additional fees (if applicable)
- Submit and download the confirmation page.
