K-Pop superstars BTS are gearing up for their ARIRANG world tour, which kicks off in South Korea today, April 9. Ahead of the big day, the boys, who have been in the US for the past month, have been promoting their new music in various chat sessions. BTS in their early career strugglesIn one such appearance on the popular Hot Ones YouTube show, the band opened up about their early career struggles, particularly while recording 2014’s ‘Danger’ from their album ‘Dark &Wild’. Asked about going to LA to record tack in a garage, the RM boss candidly said, “We were really in danger at the time.”RM and Jin talk about overcoming “danger” early in their careersIn the promotional clip, member Jin adds to RM’s remarks, and talks about dealing with their difficulties as a group. He shared, “But because we experienced that risk then, when things get tough, we remember that we overcame real adversity.”The album, which marked an important turning point in BTS’ musical journey, was partly recorded in a humble garage studio in Los Angeles. The space reportedly belonged to an acquaintance of his agency’s founder, Bang Si Hyuk. At the time, the group was also filming the reality show ‘American Hustle Life’, balancing schedules with limited resources and recording songs and learning lyrics on the go. About ‘Dark and Wild’‘Dark & Wild’ was BTS’s first full-length studio album. The boys now have their fifth studio album, not including their personal work. BTS now rules sold-out stadiums worldwide.To kick off the BTS ‘ARIRANG’ tourThe ‘ARIRANG’ world tour kicks off at Goyang Stadium, South Korea, with shows scheduled for April 9th, 11th and 12th. Then in Tokyo, Tampa, before the start of the Latin American tour in May, and after the US game, in Stanford, Las Vegas, before going to Busan and Madrid in June, Brussels, London and the US in August to Bogota and back in August to Paris and Canada in August to Bogota. Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo in the full October schedule. The band will then kick off the Asian leg of the tour with shows in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, head to Australia in February and wrap up the tour in March with the final scheduled shows in Manila.
