Taking to Instagram Stories, Badshah wrote that Dhurandhar movies go beyond the usual stories.“They said, ‘You’re not ready for this,’ and boy were they right. Dhurandhar 1 and 2 aren’t just films; they’re a statement. It’s a reminder that Indian cinema is entering a new era. Fearless, experimental and unapologetically original,” he shared.The rapper emphasized the immersive quality of the films, praising both their stories and music.“You don’t see Dhurandhar, you live it. And once you do, there’s no going back to ordinary cinema. The music has elevated the film; the cinema has elevated the music. This is not nonsense. This is pure style,” he writes, adding that he has lost count of how many times he has rewatched the film and watched its scenes.

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which released on March 19, has continued its strong run even after 20 days at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film has earned approximately Rs 1,030 crore (net) domestically, taking the Indian gross to around Rs 1,240 crore.Internationally, the film added 4 million euros on its 20th day, bringing its overseas total to around 404 million. This pushes the worldwide gross to around 1.64 billion, underscoring its successful status. The first part, Dhurandhar (released in December 2025), was already the highest grossing film of the year and the highest earner in a single language. The sequel surpassed its lifetime collection within 11 days of its release, cementing the franchise’s dominance at the box office.Along with Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt, who reprise their roles in the high-octane sequel.
