Foreign markets contributed Rs 2.20 crore, taking the film’s worldwide gross to Rs 13.19 crore.Meanwhile, ‘Raakaasa’ was still slightly ahead in the race. The film collected 1.06 crores nett on Day 5 from 1,466 shows after earning 1.12 crores on Day 4. With this, the film’s gross collection in India has reached 11.73 crores, while the nett in India stands at 10.18 crores. The overseas earnings of 3.30 crores have taken the worldwide gross collection to 15.03 crores.
‘Raakaasa’ has won accolades for its fantasy storyline and entertaining performances
‘Raakaasa’ garnered decent reviews with its full entertainment comedy content, taking the audience through fantasy and suspense. The film is the story of a dashing NRI Eera Babu (Veeru) played by Sangeeth Sobhan, who comes to India from the US to marry his childhood sweetheart, but encounters an inexplicable event in the form of a cursed castle. Nayan Sarika, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmaji and Ashish Vidyarthi played important roles in the film.
