Two Telugu films, ‘Biker’ and ‘Raakaasa’, released on the same day, April 3, creating a battle at the box office. ‘Biker’ is an action-racing film starring Sharwanand, while ‘Raakaasa’ is a comedy-fantasy thriller directed by Sangeeth Sobhan. The contrasting themes gave moviegoers two different entertainment options in theaters. Although the two films belong to different genres, they targeted a similar audience during their opening weekend.Both the films managed to register decent openings in the first weekend. However, with the introduction of weekdays, the battle between the two releases was evident in terms of day-time collections and footfalls.
Day 4 collections show ‘Raakaasa’ slightly earlier than ‘Biker’
According to Sacnilk, on Day 4 (First Monday), ‘Biker’ collected around ₹0.94 crore at the Indian collections. With this, the film’s India net collection has reached 8.35 crores, while its India gross stands at 9.72 crores so far. The film has earned 1.60 crores from overseas markets, taking its worldwide gross collection to 11.32 crores after four days in theaters.Meanwhile, ‘Raakaasa’ performed slightly better on Monday. The fantasy entertainer earned 1.12 crores at the Indian collections with around 1,485 shows. This takes the film’s total India nett to 9.12 crores, taking its India gross to 10.51 crores so far. Global markets gave further impetus to the film’s performance. Having collected 3.30 crores overseas, the film’s worldwide gross collection now stands at 13.81 crores.

A cheerful Indian returning from the United States is planning to hook up with his first love. However, an unexpected mystery awaits, connected to a supposedly cursed fortress from which many unknown stories emerge.
The film features Nayan Sarika, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmaji and Ashish Vidyarthi in supporting roles. The film is a fun entertainer with comedy and few thrills.
