Artemis II crew talks about ‘Project Hail Mary’
The Guardian reported that the Artemis II crew saw ‘Project Hail Mary’ before being cleared to leave for the mission. Before they left, they were quarantined for a while, which is when they saw the movie. The team had nothing but good things to say about Gosling’s latest feature. During the interview, Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen stated, “We were all lucky. We saw the Hail Mary while we were in quarantine. It was a real treat, they sent us a link to watch it at home with our families, getting us ready to go on our space adventure. I would say to Ryan, art imitates science and vice versa, apparently. He did a great job in that movie.”Gosling was also reported to have sent his wishes to the astronauts before they embarked on their mission.

The plot of the ‘Agur Maria project’
The film centers around Science teacher Ryland Grace, who wakes up one day alone in a spaceship with no memory of what happened to him. Not only that, he forgets who he is and what he is doing in the middle of space. As his memory returns in bits and pieces, he realizes that the sun is humanity’s last hope to study a dying substance.
