Taylor Frankie Paul to take a step away from Mormonism
Over the weekend, Paul shared a surprising update about his personal life on social media. Speaking about Mormonism, the reality star admitted she wants “a lot” from it after spending her whole life in a Mormon family.He continued, and admitted that although he will “always have love and respect”, it is time to move on. “I believe strongly in Christ, in God, in the Bible, in the divine. I believe we are loved whether we are praying or not [a] church building or from the bathroom floor at home. I’ve also experienced grace and love from amazing people who aren’t sure what they believe and that’s okay too. The point is there is more to learn. And I’m writing this as a release,” he added.
Taylor on Frankie Paul’s domestic violence case
Since the beginning of the year, Taylor has been embroiled in a domestic violence case with her former partner, Dakota Mortensen. A video allegedly from 2023 also made the rounds in which Mortensen could be heard hurling abuse and punching her.There are currently two active investigations going on, involving her and Mortensen, one of which involves allegations of domestic abuse by the two people involved. He was charged with the incident in August 2023 and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. After that, the season of ‘The Bachelorette’ has also been canceled, and the movie ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ has also been stopped.
