But the craze for IPL tickets for RCB vs CSK turned out to be too expensive for a 25-year-old techie and he got duped of a massive Rs. 1.46 lakh Techi, a resident of B Narayanpura, fell into the trap of a post posted by a fraudster who posed as a ticket seller on Instagram.According to a Deccan Herald report, the technician has alleged in a complaint to the Mahadeopura police that a man claiming to be Sumit Biswal had promised that he could arrange IPL tickets with food coupons. Technically, Biswal was introduced as the senior supervisor of the ticket counter at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

“He asked me to come near Gate No. 10 of the stadium, and said someone would provide tickets within minutes, and even sent an email confirmation to gain my confidence,” the complainant told Deccan Herald. “Initially, I agreed to buy two tickets for Rs 3,700, but he kept asking for more money under various pretexts such as refundable security deposits, additional ID cards and food coupons.
