Bollywood actress Salman Khan She found herself at the center of a hilarious online debate after her designer shoes caught everyone’s attention. The actress, who has been spending most of her time away from film sets, attending events and making public appearances, left the internet divided over her choice of footwear in her latest outing. A video circulating on social media shows Khan getting out of his car at the airport rocking a checkered shirt, jeans and distressed shoes. The videos show cameras zooming in on the worn out shoes, which made us think that the actress was wearing ‘phate joote’ (torn shoes). While some trolled the sperstar for the supposed glitch, others said they “couldn’t make sense…!”

However, fans were quick to counter the criticism, pointing out that the actress was wearing luxury designer boots. The shoes in question are the Balenciaga Distressed Leather Cowboy Boots, known for their intentionally rugged and distressed aesthetic. The boots are said to retail between Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh, prompting fans to defend Khan’s fashion choice. She previously wore the pair in 2023 while promoting the film ‘Tiger 3’.

Meanwhile, Salman has some time on his hands before returning to the film sets for his next. The Bollywood superstar will begin work for his upcoming untitled action drama with the help of producer Dil Raju and directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The project, which also stars Nayanthara as the female lead alongside Anil Kapoor and Arvind Swamy, will go on floors on April 18 in Mumbai. According to the latest reports, the film currently titled as ‘SVC63’ will go on the floors of a Mumbai studio with Salman shooting an action scene. War drama ‘Maatrubhumi’ directed by Apoorva Lakhia is also awaiting release. The film was originally slated for an April 17 release.
