Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications for the posts of Apprentice at Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) Delhi. The recruitment drive offers training opportunities to graduates and diploma holders in relevant fields, with the aim of providing experience in a defense research environment.Apprenticeships will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961, and selected candidates will have to undergo systematic training for a fixed period, usually one year. Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment includes vacancies for Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices in Engineering and Science streams.Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice posts should possess BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree, while Diploma candidates should possess relevant Engineering Diploma from a recognized institution. In most of the DRDO Apprentice Notifications, only candidates who have passed in recent years are considered eligible.The minimum age requirement is generally 18 years, upper age relaxations apply as per government rules.

Stipend, Duration and Selection Process

The duration of the apprenticeship is usually 12 months, during which the candidates receive a monthly stipend. DRDO Apprentices generally earn around ₹12,000–₹12,300 for graduates and ₹10,000–₹11,000 for diploma holders depending on the post and lab.Selection is mainly based on merit, which is determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates may be called for document verification and medical fitness check.
