‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ alum Kim Zolciak and NFL player Kroy Biermann have been embroiled in a public legal battle over custody of their children. According to the latest updates, a judge imposed a new order on the mother of four, establishing a plan requiring Zolcia to attend parenting therapy sessions.

As PEOPLE reported, Cobb County Superior Court Judge Kellie S. Hill filed a temporary parenting plan for exes Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann. During the term Zolciak received 4 sessions of parenting therapy that he was required to attend. They also gave him a deadline to attend the sessions; the report mentioned that from April 3rd to Monday, April 13th, he only had four sessions to complete.Reports also said, “The four children will remain in the physical custody of the Father” until the mother finishes all her sessions. There will also be a verification process to determine whether all the scheduled sessions were attended.Upon Mother’s successful completion of her four (4) sessions, the parties shall resume operation under the current Court Ordered Parenting Plan, which shall otherwise remain in effect until agreed upon and/or modified by this Court,” the report added.
Why was this set on Kim Zolciak?
The news comes after Kim Zolciak revealed that she was unable to attend some of the counseling sessions that were part of a previous agreement due to filming obligations. In January of this year, he signed on to temporary custody, which required both he and the NFL player to attend two counseling sessions every month for two months. After that, they were ordered to attend one session a month.Zolciak was unable to attend the sessions from February 26th to March 28th. The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star revealed that she will end her therapy sessions and has not lost custody of her children. “For the avoidance of doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor have I made any changes to the custody agreement outside of the agreed temporary order,” the TV star concluded. The couple was married for about 12 years before filing for divorce in 2023. Biermann later filed for sole custody of the children.
