He tells Rana Dagguabati that every day was a challenge
Rana Dagguabati shared that the film took many years to complete and while talking to Pinkvilla he shared that it was not just one tough scene. He said, “We shot that for six years or so. So most of it was like that.” He explained that the group was learning while making the film. Everything was new and big.
The excitement kept everyone going
The ‘Kaantha’ actor said the film inspired everyone; there were no great war movies like this before. He shared, “It wasn’t like we did so many war movies.” He also said that the action and visual effects were not that strong at that time, and the film needed a master like Rajamouli. “He pushed everyone’s boundaries. It took a master like Rajamouli and a team that came together for that vision. Usually, in a film, we can’t stay that long in our heads,” he mentioned. Rana said the team stayed strong because the work was exciting. He added: “When you go on a set and say you’re doing it for the first time on screen, and that’s a high that nothing else can get you hired.” He also mentioned that he thought using things like carts and maces was unique. That feeling was worth it all.
