JKCET 2026: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has extended the last date for registration for Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs can now complete their application through the official website by tomorrow.The board has also clarified that the window for application fee payment and document uploading will close on the same day. Candidates are advised to complete the entire application process before the last date to avoid last minute problems.
JKCET 2026 Application Fee
To complete the application form, candidates will need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 online before the last date.
Eligibility Criteria for JKCET 2026
Candidates fulfilling the following criteria can apply:
- Must have passed 12th standard.
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) will be studied
- Must have secured 45% to 50% aggregate marks.
JKCET 2026 Exam Pattern
JKCET 2026 exam will include:
- 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Duration: 3 hours
Entrance test is conducted for admission to BE and B.Tech courses in government and private engineering colleges in central region of Jammu and Kashmir.
