He wrote, “I told him I loved his work in Dhurandhar and he started saying ‘No, Ranveer is different…’ before @niteshtiwari22 cut me off and told me I was pulling my leg in reference to an ad! He also shared a link to the ad, adding, “ad, one of Nitesh’s great ads for @harshjain85”When asked by another user, “lol what was his response then”, Vishal revealed that Ranbir took the joke in good spirit, replying, “He paused, said ‘oh’ and started laughing.”For context, in the fan-quoted ad, which was released last year, Aamir Khan repeatedly calls Ranbir “Ranbir Singh” after a bruised ego drives him to a humorous face. Ranbir, on the other hand, has said that Aamir would not appreciate being directed as Salman Khan. The ad also includes appearances by various Indian cricketers, along with Arbaaz Khan and Jackie Shroff.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts and will hit theaters on Diwali 2026 and 2027.
