Singer Arpit Bala has broken his silence after a viral video of his Hyderabad concert in which he got into an altercation with a fan on stage. It happened during the March 28 performance when someone threw a bottle on stage mid-song. Footage shows him getting angry, pointing at the culprit, throwing the bottle back and calling security to remove the fan.

A few days later, Bala posted a video YouTube sharing his perspective on the matter. He described it as “not an explanation” but just an opinion of what happened. The singer explained: “It’s not an explanation, but I want you to see my side of the story. Everything was fine for the first four songs, everyone was enjoying themselves. Then, suddenly, as I was walking, a bottle came and hit me in the eye. The problem is not only that it happened to me, but that they threw a bottle or two before. When it hit my eye, it broke my flow, and I was angry.”

“What I said or did in anger…was it justified? In a way, you could say that I should have been the bigger person, but when someone provokes you, it’s easier to say. They hit me in the face, and it was not disrespectful, it was just a safety risk. My face is not a bull,” he added.Bala admitted that his reaction was knee-jerk, admitting that he “acted out” in anger. He admitted that it was not the best move, but he insisted that such actions go too far. “On impulse, I attacked them… I shouldn’t have done that… But when you cross the line, you can’t expect them to care about me.”
