He stated: “I think we should say rest in peace, RIP to people who call films propaganda. We’re putting too much energy into them. They’re redundant, they’re irrelevant.”

Kher said that the success of a film depends on the audience, not on the stories people make about it. People want to praise the movies they love, instead of arguing with the haters. “Let’s celebrate the success of The Kashmir Files, let’s celebrate the success of *Durandar*. People are not stupid enough to go to a 12:00 show and get packed. People go to watch a film because they like it,” he added.
