The actor, who has completed more than two decades in the industry and acted in more than 50 films, said that his early years in Tamil cinema were filled with success. Films like ‘Boys’, ‘4 the People’, ‘Chellamae’, ‘Kadhal’, ‘February 14’, ‘Pattiyal,’ ‘Em Magan,’ ‘Veyil’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ received good response from the audience. Bharath said that these films helped him gain recognition and build a strong foothold among young actors in the industry during that period.

Bharath clears up the rumors that action films caused his career to decline

Many people believe that Bharath’s career slowed down after he started doing more action films. However, the actor explained that the situation was not so simple. “Some people say that my career went downhill because I started acting in action films. According to him, he continued to work in several good films after that. But many of these projects didn’t reach the right audience because they didn’t have the right release time or strong promotion.

Bharath also shared examples of how external factors affect some of his films. He said that many people still appreciate movies like 555 and told him that it was a good movie. However, the release came at a difficult time, when Vijay’s ‘Thalaivaa’ faced release issues, and the makers quickly released ‘555’ at that time. Also, his film ‘Nepali’ received an A certificate and released alongside ‘Something Something’... Unakkum Enakkum,’ which affected his reach. “Sometimes it’s just timing or luck,” he said as he explained how those factors influenced his career.
