Viveck Vaswani has gained weight Jaya BachchanHe has often discussed his reactions to the paparazzi, saying that his public “awkwardness” has not always been there.In a chat with Vickey Lalwani, Vaswani reflected on her personality, her past stardom and how her current public image might have evolved over time.
‘It was very sweet’
Talking about his early years, the actor-producer said, “No. He was a superstar. He has only given hiccups. He worked with Kapoor, Manoj Kumar… he was awesome.”He then added that her character was “very sweet”.
“Maybe things have changed over time”
Asked what might have caused the change, he said, “I don’t know. Maybe over time. Maybe he wasn’t playing as much, so he had more time.”However, she said her off-screen personality remains warm among close friends. “With her close friends like Dimple and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, she is very charming,” he said.
“The paparazzi know how to push their buttons”
Addressing his frequent walks with photographers, Vaswani suggested that it can be a two-way dynamic.“I think what’s happened is that the paparazzi are constantly harassing her. Now she got overwhelmed once or twice. So they started to understand how to push her buttons. So they do that and she gets overwhelmed. Now it’s become a game between them. I don’t think it’s serious,” he said. He also spoke about his public appearances, including in Parliament. “I also think the points he makes in Parliament are very valid, but he puts them like a school teacher,” he added.
