Following the Naseem Shah controversy, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a stern warning to its centrally contracted players against posting any content on social media without prior approval.The board has reminded players and their managers of its social media rules, which state that any posts of a political nature will not be allowed. According to a Geo News report, the PCB has informed the players that political posts will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and any violation can attract a fine of at least Rs 10 million. According to the directive, the centrally contracted players will have to get approval from PCB’s media department before posting on social media.
