The filmmaker cracked a joke about the salary hike before entering Krishna’s house. He said, “Jackie Shroff has a daughter, Krishna Shroff. She is very beautiful. She recently did a show called The 50, and now your salary will be that too, 50.” Surprised, Dilip replied, “My salary will be 50,000 rupees?” Farah immediately added with her trademark humour, “Kaneez ki umeedein… (expectations of a wizard…).“

Seizing the moment, Farah asked Jackie about Krishna’s Hindi, saying, “Why didn’t you teach him Hindi?” Jackie was quick to come to her daughter’s defense, replying: “Her style, my style, everyone’s style is different.” He understands Hindi; it’s enough for me. Regarding the language, it is important to have a beautiful language.” Farah then teased: “Where did he learn to get that accent?” Krishna replied, “I studied at the American School in Bombay, so I had American teachers.”
