Patna High Court has issued an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of Technical Assistants (Group-C Posts) under Advertisement No. PHC/01/2026. A total of 53 vacancies have been announced under the High Court IT Technical Cadre Rules 2021.Selected candidates will be placed in Level 5 of 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix (₹29,200–₹92,300) with admissible allowances. The appointment will initially be on probation for one year. Interested candidates can apply through official website from 1st April 2026.

Vacancy details and reservations

The recruitment drive includes category-wise reservations as per government norms:

  • Unsafe (UR): 24 posts
  • Scheduled Castes (SC): 8 posts
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST): 1 post
  • Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 9 posts
  • Backward Classes (BC): 6 posts
  • Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 5 posts

Out of the total vacancies, 17 posts are horizontally reserved for women candidates. Additionally, 2 posts are reserved for candidates with locomotor disabilities under the 4% horizontal reservation policy of the Bihar government.
