Via an Instagram post, Jorgensen shared that he boarded the flight “after an amazing weekend in Montreal.” After noting that most people have probably heard of the incident, he says he owes his life to Forest and Gunther, “two brave souls.” “They made the ultimate sacrifice so we can all live… I am in their debt, and my thoughts are with their families,” he wrote.
Charlotte Jorgensen says the days after the accident have been tough
Jorgensen said that on the night of the crash he “didn’t feel anything like the adrenaline was running through his body,” but things changed as the days went on. “The next few days have been tough physically, mentally and emotionally,” he said. Jorgensen said he is home with loved ones, but will still “take time to heal.” Thanking fans for their support, she wrote: “I appreciate all the love I’ve received and I’m sending you all a big hug,” she said. The pro dancer ended her post on “Dancing with the Stars” by thanking the “family for their “care and concern.”Meanwhile, investigations into the accident continue.
