According to a report recently shared by Sky News, Russel Brand’s London trial date has been moved from June to October. The actor has been accused of allegedly raping and sexually assaulting 6 women, and has been awaiting trial since the allegations first surfaced in April last year. At the moment, the actor has denied all the allegations made against him. The trial was held on Monday, and it was announced that the new dates have been set for October 12.Six women have accused him of assaulting and raping him between 1999 and 2009. In relation to the case, he also appeared at Southwark Crown Court to enter not guilty pleas to two other alleged incidents. At the time, Brand was not present at the meeting, although he was represented by his legal team.Although the trial date has been postponed this year, the pre-trial hearing will still take place as planned on June 16th and 17th.
