From minimalist interiors curated by Ayesha and Krishna Shroff to personal touches like MF Husain art, a temple nook and an ocean-facing balcony, the house feels less like a star abode and more like a true happy home.Jackie Shroff’s house designed by Ayesha and KrishnaThe filmmaker visited Jackie’s home in Mumbai to shoot an episode for his YouTube channel. Admiring the beautiful house, Farah commented, “Krishna, this house is amazing.” Talking about how it came together, Krishna said, “Mom and I did it from scratch.” Gesturing at the floor, he added, “The wooden floor gives a very pleasant feeling.” Sharing more about the decor, Krishna explained, “Mum and I like open space, so the house has all the space.”Admiring a striking portrait of Goddess Lakshmi, Farah Khan said, “This is so beautiful.” Talking about the collection, Krishna Shroff admitted, “My mother is a big art collector, so I can’t tell much about them.”
Jackie Shroff’s indoor dining roomThe dining room is kept elegant yet simple, with a black dining table, matching chairs, decorative seashells and candle holders. Looking around, Farah saw a chalk drawing on a blackboard and asked, “Is this art too?” Krishna smiled and said, “Yes, this is Husain. I know this.” The artwork depicted a dancing girl next to an elephant, balancing on one leg and playfully holding a ball, reflecting her pose.
Excited, Farah asked, “Does this get deleted?” At this, Krishna assured him that he has not. Laughing, Farah said, “Thank God. Otherwise, Dilip to impress us we’d clear the whole space, even the blackboard,” which had everyone in splits. In unison, Dilip said, “My kids do similar drawings at school.” Next to the dining room, the house also has a small temple corner, beautifully decorated with idols of Hindu deities.Jackie Shroff makes an appearance on the house tourSoon, Jackie did the unexpected. Delighted, Farah greeted her saying, “Jaggu dada, what a wonderful house you have. I thought your farm was stellar, but this is even better.” When asked if her daughter is staying with her, Jackie replied in her signature tone, “My daughter, mera beta, mera aurat, mera billi bhi, mera doggie bhi—sab.” Krishna Shroff then took Farah to what he proudly called the “best place” in his house: a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean and surrounding greenery, complete with seating, a jacuzzi and an ice bath setup. “You don’t get that kind of scenery in this city. That’s the ultimate luxury, no buildings in front, no one looking at your house, just plants and the ocean,” Krishna said. He added that the family loves to gather there in the evenings to watch the sunset.
Fitness center at Jackie Shroff’s houseNodding to the jacuzzi next door Tiger Shroff‘s room, Krishna shared, “This is our morning gym, then jacuzzi, then ice bath.” The house also has a unique ice bath setup. “Having a jacuzzi and an ice bath together regulates your nervous system,” he added.
As part of the tour, Farah met Sunita, the trusted housekeeper of the Shroff family. Recalling her long relationship with them, Sunita said, “I have been with Jackie Shroff even before marriage, since 1983, from his Hero days. I have seen Krishna and Tiger grow up, carried her in my arms and played with them.”
