Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is expected to announce the Class 5th PSEB exam results soon. According to media reports, the scorecards are likely to be announced in the first week of April. However, the board has not made any official announcement in this regard. According to reports, the results are likely to be declared in offline mode. Students can collect the mark sheet from the respective schools. The PSEB Class 5th exams were held between 6th and 12th March 2026.

Strong trends continue in results.

PSEB Class 5th Results have seen strong trends in the past few years. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 99.84 percent in the declared results of the academic year 2024. Girls’ results were slightly better than boys’. More than 550 students secured full marks. The results were better in the districts of Pathankot and the lower districts of Mohali.In 2025, over 3 lakh students appeared for the Class 5 examination, of which around 2.99 lakh cleared it. Both public and private schools reported a pass rate of over 99%, reflecting stable academic results across the state.

The classification system is still systematic.

PSEB follows a defined grading framework based on percentage scores:

  • 91–100: A+
  • 81-90: A
  • 71–80: B+
  • 61-70: b
  • 51–60: C+
  • 41-50: c
  • 40 and below: d

The PSEB Class 5 result will also help identify students who may need academic support at an early stage, which can be addressed by the respective school itself. It is also possible, in some cases, to provide students with detailed assessment sheets along with their mark sheets to get a better understanding of the students. Moreover, since the PSEB Class 5 result has been declared offline, students are advised to contact the school authorities to get updates about the result distribution.
