Some reports say he wandered off set to visit the beach, others say he fell off a boat into the sea. It is reported that the actress did not know how to swim.He was pulled from the water by crew members and taken to Digha hospital around 6:00 pm, where he was declared brought dead before receiving medical attention. An autopsy must be done by March 30.

At one point, the actor gestures for silence, putting a finger to his lips, as the crew prepares to shoot.The video has attracted attention online as it is one of the last visuals of the actor before the incident.East Midnapore district police have confirmed Rahul’s death, with Additional Superintendent of Police Atish Biswas stating that the cause was suffocation. A detailed medical report is expected after the post mortem.Rahul is survived by his wife, Priyanka Sarkar, and son Shohoj. The two met on the sets of Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, separated in 2017 and reconciled in 2023 while still co-parenting their child.

Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee He expressed grief over the death of the actor and termed it a great loss to the Bengali entertainment industry. He wrote in Bengali, “I am shocked, very sad and saddened to know that the famous, young and popular actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee is no longer with us. I can’t understand how this happened. He was an actor and a person I liked very much. My heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, loved ones and many admirers. His sudden death is an irreparable loss to the Bengali acting world, as well as Tollywood and the television industry.’Actor Jeet also paid tribute, writing, “Gone soon soon… is a great reminder that how uncertain life really is”, offering his condolences to the family.
