Tollywood was shocked after the sudden death of Rahul Arunoday Banerjee on Sunday. The 43-year-old actor reportedly drowned at Talsari sea beach near Digha while shooting for an ongoing TV show. According to reports, Rahul entered the water during the shoot when the incident took place. Members of the unit and technicians went to the rescue after going under and did not resurface for some time. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in Digha, but sources said he was declared brought dead before reaching the facility. Rahul was reportedly submerged for several minutes before technicians realized he was missing and went looking for him. An autopsy is expected to be conducted at Digha Hospital.
