‘Dhurandhar 2’ which released in theaters on March 19 has been a record-breaker ever since its release. The film collected a total of 674 crores from all languages in India in 1 week. Meanwhile, on Friday, the film earned 41.75 crores. On the 10th day, which is Saturday, it grew as the number of shows also increased. The film collected 62.85 crores on its second Saturday from 18,820 shows and saw a growth of around 44 percent. With this, it created another record and became the second highest Saturday number in Hindi cinema, beating ‘Pushpa 2’. The Allu Arjun Starre’s Hindi version earned 46 crores on its second Saturday, while the Hindi version of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ alone collected 58 crores on its second Saturday. Although overall, all languages combined, ‘Pushpa 2’ has an edge over ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in terms of second Saturday numbers as the former collected 63.30 crores across all languages. One expects the film’s second Sunday numbers to be higher than Saturday as it does not face competition from the other film. Ryan Gosling’s ‘Project Hail Mary’, which released in India on March 26, is not getting much of a run due to ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Most exhibitors prefer to keep more exhibits Aditya Dhar director due to high demand. According to reports, the note Akshay Kumar‘Bhooth Bangla’ has also been delayed to avoid competition from ‘Dhurandhar 2’, so the film will continue to enjoy a good run next week as well.
