Recalling Sara Arjun’s audition, Mukesh Chhabra shared how quickly the decision was made: “Jab usne woh scene kiya, I immediately WhatsApped Aditya. He said, ‘Kaun hai yeh?’ I said she is a new girl, she has done some commercials as a child actor, and some films as a child actor. At first, we were thinking, ‘Will it look short?’ That’s a calculation in casting. But then we thought kahani ke saath woh straight lagega will go there and he is trying to greet that girl.
