BTS recently joined Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ to promote their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ internationally. In another interview, the host explained what the experience was like and how it felt to reunite all the BTS members after such a long time.
Jimmy Fallon talks about being BTS on ‘The Tonight Show’
While talking to PEOPLE about the famous Kpop boy group, Fallon couldn’t help but talk about what a great opportunity it was for him. Speaking of them, Fallon stated, “BTS has been a part of The Tonight Show family for years, but last night’s show felt like no other. They always go above and beyond, I mean…taking over the Guggenheim with two knockout performances. It was amazing to witness.”He also praised the musicians, stating that each performance is better and bigger than the last. It was the group’s first international appearance and the first time in 4 years that they performed together on ‘The Tonight Show’. “I have so much love and respect for all of them. And, of course, they have the biggest fans in the world. Without ARMY, it wouldn’t feel complete,” he concluded, adding that the second episode will also have a huge impact on the fans. The first episode of the show, which aired on March 26, featured an interview segment, and RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook performed the single “SWIM.” They also gave a preview of the second screening of ‘2.0’ which will take place on March 27th.

During the interview, they reflected on what they have all been up to and how it felt to finally be together after being apart due to military service. Speaking about it, RM, the team leader, commented, “In the military, time literally stands still. No? Like, time stands still. And then time passes. We can’t believe that we have all been discharged after nine months.”
