While the role might seem small in terms of screen time, it carries a lot of weight in the larger narrative of the film. But what made his look even more remarkable is that he not only captured the audience, but also his co-stars.
In an interview with CNN News18 Showsha, Danish revealed, “I wasn’t aware of his cameo, I didn’t know in the sense at which point it comes in. All these decisions are taken by the director himself. So I was completely oblivious. I was totally surprised that I wasn’t there when he shot his cameo.”

Despite not being aware of the cameo beforehand, Pandor was clearly impressed with what Gautam brought to his brief on-screen role. He did not hold back his admiration, saying, “She has done her part so beautifully in this film. It is such a powerful cameo. She enters the frame and the whole frame rises. It was a delight to see her on screen. I personally think Yami ma’am is a beautiful actress and a great performer at the same time.“

Beyond his praise for Yami, Pandor also praised director Aditya Dhar for working with him for over a year and a half, including during the film’s pre-production workshops.“I can say one thing about him and that’s he’s one of my biggest inspirations. The kind of person he is…he’s awesome! On a film set, there’s so much chaos every time you go to shoot a scene, but he was always calm. He just went with the flow,” said Danish.Pandor highlighted Aditya’s remarkable ability to manage a huge production without ever losing focus or composure. “He’s such an amazing personality and a humble soul. Managing so many great actors, so many departments…he had a lot of weight on his shoulders, including how the film was going to turn out. But he didn’t let that get in the way. He was always so focused. His vision was so strong,” continued Danish.Danish Pandor also reflected on Aditya Dhar’s journey: “In 2006, Mr. Aditya was supposed to do a film with Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan. That didn’t happen. He waited for a long time. Things were coming to an end, but then they closed but he didn’t lose hope. He stayed true to his profession. Why he never lost hope. And he never lost hope! The surgical strike has happened!”
