ETimes verdict

Nivin Pauly’s exclusive review of the lead in ETimes reads: “The thriller side starts with a twist at the end of the first half when John is forced to take center stage. KN Varghese has been shamed by the media and John has to clear his father’s name. Also, will he step forward to prevent corporations from taking our information, thoughts and choices. He insists on his part, and the film is better for it. Otherwise, the issues Prathicharya explored would have been lost in loud conversations and twirling moustaches. His acting instincts show once again that he knows how to shine in a heroic role, an emotional one or a cameo comedy. Sharafudeen also acts beautifully and completes Nivin’s mood.”“Prathichaya” now thrives on word of mouth as it has a lot of competition from Jayasurya’s “Aadu 3” and “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”.NOTE: The box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from various public and industry sources.
