In an interview to NDTV, Abhay Arora said that several scenes in the film were shot with local residents associated with Lyari. He said: “The people from Bangkok were actually from Lyari, and when they came to the set, they looked like Lyari. They are residents of Bangkok, and we had a local cast for these scenes, the crowd, the people walking backstage and the people cheering on stage.“The actor said that these people were dumped in Bangkok and, in fact, they are from Lyari, Pakistan.
