MP Board 5th and 8th Results 2026: The school education department in Madhya Pradesh has announced the results of the board pattern exams for class 5 and class 8, with the overall pass percentage remaining above 90 percent in both the categories. The results were released during a program organized by School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh at Vallabh Bhawan in Bhopal.According to official data, the overall pass percentage for class 5 was 95.14 percent and for class 8 was 93.83 percent. Female students outperformed males in both classes, a trend that has continued in recent years.Performance trends in both classesIn Class 5, 96.19 percent of female students passed while 94.15 percent of male students passed. In Class 8, girl students recorded a pass percentage of 94.98 per cent, while boys registered 92.74 per cent.A total of 2,368,000 students appeared for the examinations in 110,699 institutions including government schools, private schools and madrasas. Of these, 93,281 schools were in rural areas and 17,418 in urban areas.Top divisions and districts were identified.In Class 5, Shahdol division bagged the top position, followed by Narmadapuram and Indore. Narsingpur district tops the districts, followed by Dandori and Balaghat.For Class 8, Indore division stood first, followed by Narmadapuram and Shahdol. Narsingpur again emerged as the leading district, followed by Alirajpur and Dandori.Examination Scale and Evaluation ProcessThe exams were held at 12,943 centers across the state. They will only need to re-appear in those subjects in which they failed.
