The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed revised plans for its club competitions after disruptions caused by ongoing conflicts in West Asia, with key matches now set to be played in Saudi Arabia.Tractor FC of Iran will travel to Saudi Arabia to face Shabab Al Ahli in the playoffs. The winner will advance to the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League Elite, where they will face Briram United.The AFC held the quarter-final draw on Wednesday, a day after it was announced that the postponed Western Zone playoffs would be held in Jeddah on April 13 and 14. The same city will also host the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final from April 16 to 25.Another draw pits Japan’s Vasyl Kobe, second in the Eastern Zone, against the winner of the play-off between Al Hilal and Al Sadd.Defending champions Al-Ahly Saudi will face Al-Duhail, the winner of which will face Johor Dar-e-Tazim in the quarter-finals.Saudi Pro League champions Al-Tahad will face Al-Wahida, and the winner will face Japan’s Machida Zeluya, who topped the East Zone League stage.The AFC also said that the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League Two and the AFC Challenge League, which were postponed due to the dispute, will now be played on April 19 and 22 at central venues to be announced later.Cristiano Ronaldo’s club Al Nasr is among the teams participating in AFC Champions League Two.
