Arsdeep Singh Played a vital role in India’s campaign to win the 2026 T20 World Cup. While he has his sights set on a maiden title with Punjab Kings, the former India all-rounder has expressed concern that he needs to focus on his swing with the new balls. Arsdeep was instrumental in India’s title win, taking 9 wickets in 8 matches. Overtook Arshaddeep during the Super 8. Jaspreet Bumrah (33 wickets) Became India’s highest wicket-taker in T20 World Cup history. Despite his stellar performance ahead of IPL 2026, Irfan Pathan Arsdeep is sure to have lost his swing in the new balls. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Pathan said, “Arshdeep, who was your highest wicket-taker, has been taking wickets consistently. One thing he will definitely need to focus on is how he bowls with the new ball. Because in the last one year, or less than a year, from what I have seen, he is not bowling much with the new ball.” Pathan admitted that Arsdeep’s stats have dipped with the new ball and he needs to focus on that. “His stats from before and after the Asia Cup have gone down a bit in terms of bowling the new ball. He will need to focus on that, and also keep an eye on his economy rate,” Pathan said.
